Lots of Hearts

When working on projects where I use red or pink designer paper, I die-cut and punch assorted sized hearts from the small left over snippets and keep them in a jar for Valentine crafts and cards. For this card, I used a handful of those hearts and randomly layered them onto an embossed panel done with a  retired SU! Falling Petals ef. I die-cut the black arrow with a Momenta die and heat-embossed the SU! sentiment (2008 -Happy Heart Day) with white ep and placed it at the bottom. I put it all on a red card base.

I'll enter this into the Retro Rubber Challenge #175 - Love, Love, Love!

Thanks for stopping by and do make it a great day whatever you're doing!

I love this card Carol! Loving that embossing folder too, but what I love the most is how you took those heard and made a heart bundle bouquet. Nice idea to cut hearts out of leftover papers. I love the papers you used. So simple, so clean but so beautiful! Hugs, Brenda

A bouquet of pretty hearts, perfect for the month of February. I like your organisation of punching hearts as you craft, impressive especially as I'd mislay half the jar.

This card appeals to me as its not soppy, does what it needs to do ๐Ÿ˜€ x

Oh I adore this one Carol! I love your wonderful idea about punched/die cut hearts to keep aside from your scraps! (Why I don't remember to do these things?!!) The texture from the embossed background is perfect for your hearts to lay on! Super CUTE!!! P.S. I'm hoping to see a quilted style heart with your snippets for inspiration! (wink)

Be it in February or just about any other time of the year, there is usually no such thing as too many hearts. Bring them on, I say, be it in paper crafting form (like your super pretty card here) or just about other iteration.

Aka, the more hearts the merrier! :)
