Youngster's Birthday Card

I made a double point folded birthday card using Gorgeous Grape cardstock and papers from a Bo Bunny paper pad. I followed this tutorial to create my card, making some adjustments to fit the image I wanted to use. I used a Gerda Stein mouse image, adding a fussy cut party hat and a little present to his hands. The sentiment was done with a G Studio stamp and I added lots of geo sparkler stickers to make it festive. I die-cut the stitched purple heart and added a heart-shaped gemstone which holds the card closed.

Here's what it looks like opened with a fun stamped sentiment inside.

I'm going to share this with the CARDZ TV anything goes challenge #153

Also sharing with the Critter Crazy Challenge #56 - A/G using a critter

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your week is off to a good start!

Hi my dear friend! Sorry if I'm late, but blogger probably has some bug and I can't see all the posts in my mailing list, as the "Upload more" button doesn't work anymore! =:( So I haven't seen your latest post!
Great shape of card, thanks for the link to the tutorial! Love it and love so much the colours choice and the beautiful design papers you used!! The Gerda Stainer's mouse is a cutie for sure, he makes me smile with the added party hat and the present!! The closure with the tiny heart is a delicious detail! Well done!
Sending lots and lots of hugs and prayers on your way! Stay strong!! :)
Here is a super-crazy time, I think you could see why...!
