Thank You Card

I had some pink cardstock on my table, so I decided to make a thank-you card. I used some Spellbinder Nestabilities Labels 2 dies for the sentiment panel and mat, along with a retired SU! sentiment that's been a favorite of mine for years. I used a new ARTplorations gridlock stencil to create the background along with some CTMH soft grey ink. The pink border was done with an EK bricked punch and some GinaK bubblegum cardstock, and I matted it with black for contrast. I punched another border from white, and used it as a stencil to decorate the envelope with matching pink ink. The gemstones are from Gina Marie Designs

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

The Dies R Us Challenge #177 - A/G using dies sold at their store (Spellbinders)

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says Lots of Layers

Thanks for stopping by today and I do wish everyone the best possible day with lots of sunshine!

From a very masculine of the last post to a very feminine of this one! You are really eclectic, my friend!! :D LOVE this elegant and sweet design and grey plus pink is a fabulous combo! That punched border looks fabulous matching the delicate grey stencilled panel! The unusual shape of the sentiment panel with the pink pearls and the beautiful font give a really striking feel to this card!!! And you made also the matching envelope, wow!! There is a lot of love in this work! :) Well done!
Sending big hugs as always, stay strong and always find something positive!

I am really loving the patterns matching on your design here Carol! Not sure if that was purposeful or not, but the die cut border and stenciling really look so well composed here! Really beautiful card design friend!

Love this thank you card Carol, the colors are striking, but then any vibrant color with black is striking isn't it?! That stencil is pretty cool, and I love that "matching" border in pink. I have these same SB dies, haven't used them in years, so need to make them new again and use them! The little pearls are the finishing touch to this card. Hugs, Brenda

Terrific design. I really like how the unifying element of lines in both of the patterns here help to make each one pop all the more. Great design, Carol - it's reminding me to reach for brick themed items more often.

Rather simple and very pretty!! The color combo is very elegant and goes with the font on the sentiment! And what a genius idea to use the die cut as a stencil for your envelope! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
