Christmas Snippets Card

I had so many Christmas snippets from paper pads that were falling all over the place, so I decided to use them to make a few Christmas cards with panels like this one. I just glued them together on a scrap piece and then trimmed it to fit the dark green panel, which was punched with a SU! scalloped punch. The little gnome is a first outing and he's from a Stampendous stamp set given to me by a very generous friend. The sentiment panel is a pre-printed one from SSS. I added some liquid applique to the gnome for a little fun.

I'm sharing this with the following challenges:

The Merry Little Christmas Challenge #38 - Sept. A/G Christmas challenge

*optional non-traditional colors

NBUS #30 - never before used schtuff (gnome stamp)

This is the first time in a long time I posted 2 cards back-to-back, so it must be this beautiful weather we're having that inspired me! LOL
Thanks for stopping by and  I'm also wishing a very happy Labor Day holiday to my American friends today! Enjoy!

Carol

Great way to use your snippets, Carol! The green border compliment the panel so well and that cute gnome looks fun with the puffy hat!
Sorry to hear that things are difficult also in your zone :( Be strong and stay safe... There will be better days, fingers crossed and always have hope.
Big hugs and love across the miles!

An adorable festive card. LOVE that cute gnome and the paper panel is a brilliant way to use up snippets.

I'm standing in for Miss Di on the commenting front while she's recovering from her fall. so come and visit the Playground Tree House for some mischief. She can't easily climb the ladder at present!

Thanks for playing in the Snippets Playground.
Hugs from the Snippets Head Prefect. x

This is such a smart way to use up scraps and make a unique card at the same time. I really like that dark red color, it is so rich and almost looks like velvet. Cute little gnome and he looks so festive with the liquid applique applied.

What a super card Carol and fabulous use of snippets. All so well co-ordinated as well.

A while ago I missed my craft room chair when going to sit down, basically it shot away as it's on castors. Luckily my craft room is upstairs and, like you did with your basement stairs , I shuffled to the stairs and could then stand up again. We need to dig a basement here!

Hugs

Just got back from Chicago to visit my son and do some catching up, so I'm so excited to see that you've been inspired to create and especially with your snippets collection here Carol! HOW STINKIN CUTE!!! The papers and colors are gorgeous with your cute little gnome!! That's one thing that has really been occupying me with my clean up for my craft room lately are those darn pattern paper and their snippets! I found a cool plastic container to organize mine in to try and keep them handy and at reference for when I just need to grab and pull them out! So I really appreciate your inspiration friend! HUGS
