Autumn Thank You

I have an Autumn-themed card today made with some SSS Orange Peel and Lemon Chiffon cardstock. Sorry the yellow looks more like vanilla, but it's a beautiful pastel yellow color. I used a Poppystamps Tulisa collage to cut the panel on the front, adding a piece of orange behind it. The matching orange border was made with an EK punch, inserting gold-embossed negatives, and adding a narrow piece of brown ribbon. The sentiment is from SU! (r) gold-embossed on a piece of chocolate cardstock and I added orange, gold and yellow gemstones to finish this one with a little sparkle.

I took a photo from a different angle, but the yellow still looks like vanilla😏

I'll enter this into these challenges:

(they're celebrating their one-year anniversary)

Dies R Us Challenge #176 - A/G using dies sold in their store
(the Poppystamps Tulisa Collage)

the Four Seasons Challenge - anything goes FALL

That's it for me, but thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

Carol

That's a beautiful die front and center. I was most taken, however, with your leaf border. Sometimes it's the little things that grab my attention. I know how beautiful this pale yellow is as I have some yellow so pale it almost looks like vanilla unless you see them side by side. I love it! Thank you so much for sharing with us in our brand new Four Seasons challenge!

Your CAS looks beautiful and stunning, Carol! Tulisa is a so pretty die to put interest and all the details you added compliment it very well! Love that orange border with the gold inlay of leaves and the brown fishtail banner embossed in gold perfectly match the gross-grain ribbon! Also if the colour base seems vanilla instead of pale yellow, the card looks fabulous as well! :) The tiny sparkling gems are so cute!
Be strong and hopeful, better times will come... Sending hugs, peace and love to you and Butch!

What an elegant die cut and the border with the gold leaves just adds to the lovely design of the card! It's frustrating when colors don't photograph the way you wish. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues for our first birthday celebration!

Carol this is such a gorgeous card. That is such a unique die cut and the gold flowers are such a lovely accent! So frustrating when our camera does not capture the colour properly. I have that problem with Aqua Mist all the time. Thank you for sharing with us at the Color Hues Challenge!
