Happy Haunting

I made another Halloween card recently using some snippets from my stash. I found this old houndstooth dsp and thought it was a good choice for what I had in mind. I had a few remnants of dark orange cardstock left that I wanted to use up, so I used a MFT notched border die and used another piece for the SSS pre-printed sentiment panel. The larger border was made with a STAMPlorations broken glass stencil, using black ink on a snippet of
lemon-lime cardstock and layered on top of the orange border. The MB spider was cut from a bit of black and I added 2 little white eyes done with a paper punch and added 2 yellow gemstones.

I'm sharing this with...

Thanks for stopping by on this Monday and I wish you a great week ahead!

Carol

Wowie, love that spider and its most beautiful googly eyes! I'm going to remember that idea. So cool! There was a time I had no Halloween paper at all, but managed to find plenty in my stash that worked. Your card reminds me of that. It looks fantastic! Thanks so much for joining us at Two Old Bats!

YIKES!! That is one HUGE spider, LOL!! I really love spiders, I think they are such amazing and resourceful little critters but, if I see something like this crawling on the floor or on the wall, I will just run on the opposite direction, LOL!!
.....then, I will come back, catch it and throw it in the backyard, where she probably will have better luck finding food than inside my house, LOL!!
Anyway, thank you so much for sharing this fun card with us at 2 OLD BATS HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE.
Stay healthy and safe.

That spider is such a detailed thin cut for the legs, and those bling pieces for eyes are such a perfect touch.

Thanks for playing with us @ Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge!
