Birthday Card


Today I have a birthday card to share using some very old retired SU! IN color cardstock and Afternoon Tea dsp snippets that I've cherished for years. I die-cut the background panels with MFT stitched horizontal dies, and the oval panel with a MFT stitched die as well. The SSS gnome was die-cut with matching cardstock and matted with black to match the card base I cut the nose from white and colored that with a Copic marker. The balloons were done with a MS punch and stamped with TE birthday sentiments and attached to black twine bits. I used glaze markers to color in one sentiment.

Such a cute card, Carol! Love that gnome die and the different colors of cardstock you put under it! Those balloons finish this off nicely with all the birthday wishes! Well done, my friend! Happy Friday!

The cardstock has a lovely vintage vibe and backed onto the black really adds definition. She looks adorable paper pieced surrounded by sentiment balloons x

Fantastic designed project, brilliant gnome die, love this and thanks for your sweet words on Bella, she is adorable and after 10 minutes of play she was sleeping with her 8 siblings, so cute.

This is a very interesting design, so simple and clever! Love the idea of the background panels, great way to using scraps!! :D The lady gnome looks fun and perfectly matches the background! And those little balloons with the sentiments make me smile :)

Oh this is just too cute Carol! I love the color combo, muted colors, but colorful too. That striped paper is awesome. A great use of snippets too! That girl gnome is so cute and fun. I love how you took balloon dies and put the sentiments on them. So fun! Hugs, Brenda
