I unearthed some favorite retired SU! heavy-duty papers I've had for quite some time. I opened up a paper bank envelope to get the correct size and measurements to make my own, then added a die-cut stitched oval, along with a die-cut stag on top. A red gem stone became his nose and a black Nuvo drop became his eye. The sentiment is a die from Kaisercraft cut from some retired sparkly gold card from SU!
I'm trying to stay motivated for the upcoming Christmas season, but I just can't seem to do it. My husband's youngest sister passed away this past Saturday so in trying to cope with that, nothing feels right this year. If I post cards less often, it's because I'm just not making them as frequently as I'd like to. I'm trying to hang in there and hopefully I'll have at least one more post before this unbelievable year comes to a close.
Wishing each and every one of you a peaceful and serene holiday season along with good health too.
Thanks for stopping by and for your friendships through blogging.

I'm sorry to hear of her passing and it's so sad to lose someone. Nothing is right this year. We can't be with our families and can't shop in the stores. How sad this all is. Things will get better and the vaccine will help. Hang in there.
