Early Thanksgiving Card

I've been going through my neglected paper pads recently and found a half-used Bo Bunny Autumn themed pad. It was filled with little snippets of paper left over from previous projects, so I used some dark brown card stock and a mustard-colored card base to put this together.  The image is by Gerda Stein and I stamped it with Antique linen ink, then outlined the edges with a fine dark brown marker, and colored the rest of it with Copics. I put a little pumpkin in his hands and made this a Thanksgiving card, tying some rust-colored twine around the image panel just for fun.

Sharing with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which is "oh so cute"

Also sharing with the Snippets Playground challenge #385 - which is always to use your snippets

Thanks for stopping by as always and I hope you are all coping with the ways of our world these days. Me; not so much.

This is so cute and the papers are so pretty. I love this idea and will CASE this as I have tons of scraps. If you saw my room you would know I don't throw anything away!

That little mouse sure is super cute! I have a lot of neglected paper pads too, but not much inspiration to do anything with them. Life has certainly been a challenge here too. I'll be thinking of you. ~Nancy

He's rather cute and before I read your post I assumed he came complete with the pumpkin... absolutely awesome job adding the pumpkin into the image, genius. It's definitely getting more Autumnal here as the days shorten, I must admit to being a sucker for the cosy dark nights :) x

Cute card, Carol. Great use of your papers.
I have so many of those half used paper pads. You would think I would use them up before I would have purchased more? Well, I am getting better at that!

Here the sun shines and I still wear flip flops, so I can't enter in autumnal mood, but your card is so cute and sweet, LOVE that cute mouse and the matching patterned papers you used! :D Clever idea using a marker to outline the edges of the mouse! The twine finishes the card perfectly!
The world isn't so much a good place, in these days. But hope for a revolution :D
