Sympathy Card

I bought this KaiserCraft Sheet Music embossing folder a few months ago on a trip to a local craft store and have not used it as much as I'd like to. I thought it might make a pretty background for a sympathy card so that's what I'm sharing today
I placed the embossed panel on a Daffodil Delight card stock base, and used a snippet of green card to die-cut the large swirl with a Cheery Lynn die. The tiny flowers were done with a retired SU! mini punch and some Daffodil Delight matching polka dot dsp. I placed a drop of Black Nuvo drops in the center of each bloom, and used a Lil Inker stitched die to cut the sentiment panel which was heat-embossed with white embossing powder along with a SU! teeny tiny wishes greeting.

I'll enter this into the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by and do have yourself a wonderful day!

The embossing is really detailed and I like the idea to incorporate it for a sympathy card because music can hold so many memories and I think flowers are a great way to remember a loved one. Nicely designed card for a difficult time x

It certainly does make for a beautiful background on a sympathy card Carol! I love the embossing folder, I love the flourish-always love this when you use it. The colors are so pretty and soft. We hate making them, but have need for them unfortunately. Hugs, Brenda

What a beautiful sympathy card Carol. Love the delicate leaves and flowers - and the embossed background is perfect for the card. I wonder what the actual tune is? Let's hope it's not a rousing rendition of 'On the good ship Lollipop' or similar. Sorry, once that thought popped into my head i had to mention it.
