I recently made this Christmas card which left me with 2 negative pieces that I put together to make this 2nd Christmas card. I used the Memory Box Pine Trio die along with some green mirror card and some glittered gold cardstock. The tiny red stars were negatives from a SSS star border die, and the image was placed on a panel of SSS woodgrain cardstock with a matching green mirror card mat. The sentiment is by Northwoods and this card was done.
I'll enter this into the Dies R Us Challenge #149 - Christmas in July
So far making Christmas cards hasn't cooled me off too much because it's hot hot hot outside! I'm chilling inside as much as possible but tomorrow we must venture out for groceries. I think I'm ready to sign up for meals on wheels as I hate to shop/hate to cook these days. Anyone else feeling that way lately?
Take good care and have a good day!

Love the trees on the wood embossed background Carol, the little stars are perfect for the trees a Super card. As for meals on wheels, we had one tonight with a takeaway LOL.

Gorgeous!
You create the lovelest cards with so little ............Lis
Beautiful, like the overlapping trees and the white woodgrain background is perfect!
A beautiful Christmas card! Love those pretty trees! I do wish someone would cook for me! I forced myself to cook tonight, but it was an easy casserole. And, I know we have leftovers for tomorrow, so that’s a good thing, lol!
Very elegant CAS, Carol, it's stunning how you made it with a few tiny shapes! The embossed background and mirri mat are just perfect to make the trees pop out!!
Here it's hot too and I have to cook for my Mum, that eats really a little these days. So I cook pizza with our tomatoes, my very own 7 cereals bread (I have a bread machine, so it works for me ;) ) and other fresh meals using vegetables form my garden and eggs from my chickens. I have a lot to work, daily, to have these things, but they are so good and healthy. I'm lucky.
Big hugs across the miles
Hi Carol
One of my favourite dies .. .. and it gets used lots every year!
Love how you have used it here. and the wood grain card is a great finishing touch.
Thank you for the lovely comment you left on my blog
Love Jules xx
Love this Christmas card, the embossing looks fabulous too. xx
Oh sparkly gold trees, how wonderful and who doesn't do Christmas without glitter. They look awesome as the only focal point on the woodgrain paper, clean and crisp. Nice to do the sentiment in red to echo the red of the stars x
A pretty Christmas card Carol, you are very good using up your negative die cuts.
I would sign up with one of those companies that delivers your meals ready to pop in the oven if I was on my own.

This card is adorable, Carol! Love the sparkle from the glitter paper! I agree with you on shopping & cooking! I feel that way almost everyday not just when it's hot! LOL It's been horrible with this high heat & humidity....hope we soon get a break! Stay cool and keep making those pretty Christmas cards!
This is beautiful. Love that woodgrain look and the sparkle is lovely. Those teeny red stars are perfect. I am so sick of cooking. That's what I miss most in this lockdown, not getting to go out to eat with my friends.
Really lovely Christmas design here Carol! I love those sparkly trees so much along with your woodgrain texture background for them! Beautifully done!
Great CAS card and embossed background-love the die-cut trees.I dread the "what are we going to have to eat today" question every single day!!!Saying that I have a chilli cooking in the oven for tomorrow-but John and Helen won't eat it so usually have mine and give the rest to Matthew and Rosie

I do love your card with the beautiful sparkly trees!! Thanks so much for joining us at Dies R Us for the challenge!!
Cute Christmas card, Carol. I know just how you feel. This horrible heat has been making Jim and I sick. I miss being able to go into a resturant to eat. We didn't eat out much before this (Mostly just once a week. But I miss that eating out even once a week. Sometimes we do curbside...It gives time away from cooking and I hope it helps the cafes, etc to stay open.
