Christmas in July

I pulled out an older die called Pine Trio by Memory Box and dug through my snippets to put together a Christmas card. I used bits of green mirror card, SU! glittered gold card, red glitter card, SSS white woodgrain embossed card, and a snippet of plaid dsp from a Kringle paper pad. The card base is Cherry Cobbler and the sentiment is unbranded, also stamped in Cherry Cobbler. The little stars on top of the trees were negative cuts from a SSS star border die.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Repeat Impressions DCCJL120 - Christmas in July

(I'm sliding this one in just a couple hours before it closes - whew!)

the Snippets Playground #381 - must use snippets

That's going to do it for me today. Wishing all my American friends a very happy Independence day celebration tomorrow and wishes to everyone for a fantastic weekend!

What a lovely card, Carol...and best of all it was created from snippets.
I have been challenging myself to make cards just from my snippets boxes too.
It is such a good feeling to use up some scraps, right?

Oh I love your shiny green trio of trees, they're really sweet with the little stars. Super job on following the sketch, the embossed woodgrain really adds dimension and ties in with the trees. Congrats on your win over at Just Us Girls, well deserved... yay you :) x
