Father's Day Card


The puzzle is done, the bookmarks are completed and today I made a card! Actually I made 2 of them, and it felt good to dig into my snippets box and make one out of those unfinished projects, or bits and pieces left over from previous projects. I found the embossed panel with men's shoe/boot prints and the card began from there. The black frame was tossed into the snippet box after cutting the center from it a long time ago. The father's day sentiment was on a father's day card made years ago that I didn't like, so I used a note tag punch  to make it the sentiment for this card. I found a silver anchor eyelet along with 3 silver brads in my stash, so I added them too. The blue panel was embossed with a SU! seaside ef and sponged with salty ocean distress ink and I added a teal colored border of waves between the two panels done with a SNSS die, and placed it all on a teal card base.

Gosh I think your snippets box is actually a treasure trove of goodness... you know I never noticed the boot print embossed until I read your post, its awesome and definitely for masculine feet. Fab card x
