Santa Chick

I made this card a while ago and never posted it. Someone sent me this printed image a long time ago but I have no idea who makes it. I colored it with Copics and die-cut it with a Lil Inker stitched rectangle. adding some silver stickers. The mat behind the image, banners and vertical panel were made with snippets, and the background was embossed with a Cuttlebug ef. The sentiment was done with peel-off stickers.

I'm sharing this with the May Rudolph Days Challenge which is to make a Christmas card before the end of the month.

On another note, I finished the latest jigsaw puzzle on Sunday. My husband actually helped me finish this one because I was really stuck with it for quite some time. It's just 500 pcs, but those pieces were very tiny and after a while they all started looking alike LOL

I took a photo of the box because I couldn't get the whole puzzle into the photo. I have one more puzzle to work on and it's 1000 pcs, so that will keep me busy for quite some time I'm sure. It's a good thing I saved these puzzles through the years - I didn't think I'd ever work on them again, but surprise!

Here's to a better week ahead for everyone - thanks for stopping by!

A fun image for the Christmas card challenge. Beautiful scene for the jig saw but I can imagine the difficulty with lots of detailed flowers and leafy areas.

Eggcellent Christmas chick card, I do like traditional Christmas colours and I like how you've just added embellishments in colour giving it a crisp feeling.

The jigsaw reminds me of a Thomas Kinkade photo, it's beautiful with the wisteria in bloom. Keep smiling x

This is a great card design to use up those little snippets of Christmas paper. You should take it over to Di's at Pixies Crafty Workshop.

I like this card, Carol. It has a homey feel to it. I have not seen the peel op sentiment stickers in glitter. I really like those. Do you happen to know who makes them as I will try to get some. I am not fond of the ordinary then silver ones. This one you used has some pizzaz!

Thanks for taking part in the May Rudolph Days Challenge.
