Cowboy Birthday

Here's a card I made a while ago with some die-cut images a friend sent me. I always liked making western themed cards so I started this with a simple water colored background that I sponged in yellow, red, and brown ink. The sentiment is from the now-closed Marks Finest Papers.

I'm going to share this with the Male Room Challenge #137 which is "landscapes."
I'm trying out the new blogger format since it will become the norm by the end of June. I don't own a smart phone and everything today is coordinated to use with them, so we shall see. I haven't figured out how to enlarge the photo yet but hopefully I'll figure it out.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

Carol

I have no idea what you're talking about when you say Blogger format is changing but it SCARES me!!! Yikes!!! I hate change and always seem four steps behind whatever they're doing! Ugh!!!

I DO love your card though! Great scene and a perfect card for a guy. Wonderful use of all those dies.

Lovely sunset with the silhouette scene, perfect masculine card for the young and not so young boys. I'm planning on a blog over-all so I'll combine that with the new blogger, hopefully it will be a smooth transition x

Wow! I'm really loving your blended background on this! It's perfect for those silhouette dies too! I always look for these type of cards as my dad enjoys westerns and this fits with him when I make cards! He like John Wayne stuff. It seems that Wordpress is slightly changing up their format is creating posts too. I always like to change things up once in a while as I guess it keeps us on our toes! LOL! I may not always like change, but it's inevitable in life. Hope you had a great weekend friend! HUGS

Oh, you are brave, Carol. I'm afraid to push that button to try the new format. WTH do they have to change something that's not broken? I'm so nervous about the bugs that will now be popping up, but, hey we'll just have to deal with them! I ADORE your Western card! That blended sunset is outstanding!! Hugs, Darnell

You are brave to change your format. I don't like that it takes some card pictures away and I don't understand why it does that. This is a beautiful background and a wonderful scene.
