Love with Hearts

While sorting through my unfinished project/snippet box, I found this embossed background I'd done at a friend's house eons ago, along with the big die-cut stitched pink heart and the little strip of hearts dsp, so I decided to put them all together to make a Valentine. The heart-shaped love stamp is by Impression Obsession and fits perfectly on the white die-cut stitched heart, so I layered them for a simple look. I added some little gemstones for fun and that's all there was to it. I love it when I can sort through my snippets box and use things!

I'll share this with the following challenges:

The Snippets Playground #371 - must use snippets

That's going to do it for me today, but thanks for stopping by and have yourself a great day!

Your snippets came together so perfectly for this card. I love the idea of using a strip of dsp for the embellishment. That is a great tip.

That embossed background is so pretty and was perfectly used with your love heart design here Carol! I need to pull my "snippet folder" out in plain sight so that I remember to use things! :)

Yeay for using snippets!! It's one of my favorite things to do and I keep my little stash right on the desk so I can see what's in there. Your card turned out so pretty; that embossed layer really catches your eye! And you definitely nailed using hearts! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
