Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I wanted to share a card I made for that occasion.
I need to use the snippets of dsp I've accumulated for so long, and today's card makes use of some very old SU! papers. I used a Gerda Steiner image, adding a little Thanksgiving pie and a SNSS sentiment. The tag is a die cut by Lawn Fawn, embossed with a SU! stencil, and some Brutus Monroe glitter paste (that glows in the dark!) I added some twine and some enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs and called this one done.
I'm sharing with the November 2 Crafty Critter Crazies challenge
(Regarding the issues I've been having adding photos here on blogger - I discovered that when I click the icon to add photos and the next window opens, if I continue to repeatedly click the UPLOAD button, the "choose files" option eventually does appear below and I'm able to upload photos. I also discovered through trial and error that if I open a second window of my blog while keeping the first one open, when I click the "add photo" icon, the "choose files" option appears every time as it always did, so those two things work for me. I hope that helps some of you having the same issues I'm having in getting photos posted)
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Monday!
Carol

OH Carol, I LOVE this card! The patterned papers are so pretty and love the embossing behind that cute image. Absolutely perfect!
I'll holler for even more help I'm sure if I'm not able to upload my cards but thanks for those pointers. Gotta love Blogger.

I'm glad you were able to figure out how to load your photos. This is so cute, I love that little image and the way he is looking at that pie. I need to start using up my old and new papers too.
Oh wow! Great mousey card! I just love using tags on cards. Yeah, Blogger is being a real pain! Glad you are working through it! Maybe I will try once more.
When I updated Blogger last evening it seemed like it was working a bit better so hopefully they are working thru this issue! Hang in there!
Carol, your card is super duper cute and how perfect for Thanksgiving! Love the glow in the dark brick wall and that adorable image! Such pretty paper, too! I can help but love the tag and your added twine bow! Thanksgiving will be here before we know it! TFS and have a wonderful week, my friend! :)
Great minds think alike, I've been crafting with a mouse too and I like your little fella looking lovingly at the pie. I'm mighty impressed with your tag, you may recall tags and me are not friends so I admire anyone who makes tags... especially this super cute x
What a super cute critter image, perfect for Thanksgiving! I love the combination of DSP you used too! Don't you just love when the scraps you've been hoarding are the perfect touch to a card?!? And your glitter paste background for the focal image provide just the right amount of texture, not to mention the bonus surprise when it glows in the dark!!! Very well done, Carol! Thank you for sharing this at 2CCC and be sure to play along again soon!!!
Awe! What a cutie he is! I adore the texture on your tag and those beautiful papers for your layout too!! I think I'm happy with Wordpress as I don't seem to have the glitches and problems that I used to get when I was on blogger, but it's a free thing I guess. Glad you got it sorted out! HUGS
