Thank You

I've always loved this SU! Chalk Talk stamp set (and matching framelit dies) and make lots of thank-you cards with it. I can't find a date on the stamps or container to give it a date, but I've had it for a few years now. I bought it from my SU! demo when it retired some time ago. I stamped the sentiment on a white snippet, and punched the bottom with a corner rounder punch, then placed it on a Chalk Talk Framelit die cut. I placed it on a red panel done with a Martha Stewart hearts border punch, adding 3 of the negative hearts to the bottom. The dsp is from DCWV's black & white paper pad. It's quick, easy to make and goes through the mail with one stamp. My kind of card!

I'll enter this into the following challenges:

So modern and feminine, love the chalk stamp on the label and the red border looks great on the uncoloured background paper!

This is a striking thank you card Carol. I love the black, red and white color combo. That black and white paper is fabulous, I don't have that paper pad. lol A great use for the MS heart punch as well. I haven't used that one in forever and I love it so much. Maybe time to get it out again! lol Hugs, Brenda

Love the pops of red on top of the pretty background, and framing your sentiment in black really makes it pop.

This is just lovely! What a classic color combo, you can never go wrong with it, and your background paper is awesome! Chalk Talk is from 2013-2014...if you go to the SU gallery page on Splitcoaststampers, they have alphabetical listings of all the SU stamps ever made, all the way at the bottom of the page. (If you can't find it, let me know and I'll walk you through it!) So happy you shared this with us at Retro Rubber!
