Hexagon Medallion Birthday

I found a pack of this fabulous American Crafts SoHo Garden double-sided dsp at Tuesday Morning a while ago, and today I've made a birthday card with it. The medallion was made with 6 punched hexagons that were folded on 2 sides to create a pretty flower in the center. I added a punched flower with a brad in the center to keep it all in place, then adhered it to a navy panel that was cut with a stitched square die from GMD and placed it on a background of the striped dsp. The "happy" was die cut with Melon Mambo and a SSS "oh happy day" die, while the "birthday" was cut with navy and a SNSS die.

I'm sharing this with the Seize the Birthday challenge #168 - which is always anything goes with a birthday theme, and the optional topping this week is "cover the card" - basically no white space on the card.
