Birthday Card

Today I have a card made with some old stash items that haven't seen love in a long time. I used some PTI bitty box designer paper in 2 colors along with a Penny Black floral image and a Lawn Fawn die-cut tag. I colored the flower with Copics, adding lots of clear Wink of Stella for some sparkle, then added a heat-embossed SU! sentiment done on a MFT die-cut labels die. I added a little twine bow and some black Nuvo drops and called this one done.

Also sharing with the Penny Black Saturday challenge for June - anything goes

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your weekend kicks off to a great start!

Love the mix of papers on this pretty card! The tag looks great too. Wish I could do the Nuvo drops like this - mine always come out with this little tail thing on top! Love your card.

What a cool sketch and loving your take on it too Carol! The papers and colors are fabulous, who doesn't love a grid like paper?! The tag is fun and I am loving the image. Hope you have had beautiful weather and none of those nasty storms my friend. Hugs, Brenda

Wow Carol I love your interpretation of this sketch. Your choice of DP is fabulous. What a great idea to add a tag and your single flower is just beautiful. Doesn't it feel good to get out old stash and create something wonderful.
