Father's Day

I started looking through some old stamps, dies, and snippets to put this card together for father's day. I stamped a piece of blue dsp with a Kaisercraft fishnet stamp in versamark, then heat-embossed it with white ep and fussy cut it. I stamped the card base with a Market Street Stamp (now closed) called "Here Comes the Sun", using distress inks of Squeezed Lemonade and More Mustard to give the illusion of a sunny day, then stamped some tiny bird images across the sky. The upper panel was cut with a Nestabilities Labels 2 die, and I used a MFT fishtail banners set of dies to make the sentiment panel along with a SU! greeting that was heat-embossed in white. The anchor was made with a Marianne die from silver glitter card stock, and tied to the sentiment panel with some twine. The finishing touch was 3 small black stickers.

I'm sharing this with the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge
