Thinking of You

I sponged a panel with some distress inks before stamping this Stampendous tree poem image in Versafine black ink. After it dried, I lightly dotted glue on the tree leaves only and then added glitter for a beautiful subtle sparkle. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day when I took this photo so the glitter just doesn't show up too well. I put it on a pool party card base, and added a little snippet of pool party for the Sweet 'n Sassy stamped sentiment.

I'm sharing this with the following challenges:

Little Red Wagon #478 - Hey Newbie! (new stamp)

LTCCB#30 - January anything goes

LTSCB#117 - anything goes

Wishing you a wonderful Friday and a great start to the weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

A different style by your usual cards, but so beautiful and impressive!! Love this stamp and the sparkling on the leaves, I enlarged the photo and it can be looked well! The banner compliments the design perfectly!
Hugs, have a lovely weekend!!

This card is so pretty, Carol! I love the effect that the sponging of different colors brought to it and that gorgeous tree with words! I bet it's stunning with all the glitter added to it! Absolutely wonderful card!! Love it! TFS

I blew your card up (you know what I mean) so I could see the beautiful sparkle on your tree Carol. Great coloured background and perfect choice of the blue card base to enhance your shimmer. Lovely poem.
