Heartfelt Thanks to Di Blog Hop

I love to play at Pixie's Snippets Playground and today we're honoring Di who is celebrating her 7th year at the helm of this fun challenge to use our snippets. Congratulations on 7 wonderful years Di! Your generosity has no limits with the prizes you offer and the postage costs to mail them all over the world! Your friend (and mine) Darnell has organized this hop where all of us can share a snippets card to say thank-you for all you've done and continue to do in the world of stamping.

This card is simply to say "thank you" for 7 years of fun. I dug deep into my stash for some long-retired SU! dsp and stamps (Morning Meadow) and used the colors of crumb cake and pumpkin pie. That sounds like a good breakfast combo doesn't it? LOL The image panel was die-cut with a Gina Marie Designs stitched oval die, along with a SB scalloped petite oval die and the frame is from Mama Elephant's Park Avenue Framed Tags. The flowers were done with SU! retired mini punches and I added some orange gemstones to enhance the overall look. I took an orange glaze pen and dotted some of the flowers in the dsp just for fun.

Thanks again Di for all you do for the world of card making, stamping, and just being creative. It's been such a joy playing in your challenges for so many years and congratulations on 7 long and wonderful years of doing such a great job of handling it all. Hugs to you, Len, Dudley, and Parsnip and above all, a very heartfelt "thank you!"

Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a wonderful day!

Carol

This is really elegant, Carol! I love the pops of pumpkin with the crumb cake! (Um, what does it say about me that I could enjoy those for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bed-time snack!) That DSP snippet is lovely behind your oval and snazzy thank you sediment! Love the frame with the inside scallop, too! I'll see you later on the bench by the Duck Pond cuz I think the ducks will like your pumpkin bread and crumb cake, too!! Hugs, Darnell
