When the Cat's Away...

Here's a fun card made for the Dies R Us challenge #104 which is red, white, and blue. I used Pacific Point, Real Red, and white cardstock from SU! I started with a SNSS Cocoa Mouse image, colored with Copics and die-cut with a Gina Marie Designs stitched square die, then matted with red. The horizontal strip was made with some Pacific Point dsp and also matted with red. The stars were die cut with a retired SNSS star die set and topped with a SU! Pacific Point candy dot, and placed on an embossed layer done with a Darice tiny stars ef.  The sentiment is by Taylored Expressions and the little mice were die cut with Gina Marie Designs dies. I guess the cat must be on vacation because Cocoa seems to have rounded up all his little friends for a party! LOL

Here's wishing you a weekend of partying too! Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day whatever you do!

So funny that the cat is away and everyone is partying! Love this, Carol! That embossed star background just makes this card pop with all the lovely red, white and blue images! Cocoa really is the star of the show though! This is colored so nicely! Great job on the making of this! I love everything about it! TFS Happy Friday, my friend! :)

I love, love, love this card Carol!!!! First off it is red/white and blue-my favorite. But I adore little Cocoa peeking out around the star-so sweet and I love the cute other mice. The blue polka dot paper is awesome. Then there is the embossed star background-Yep, I am loving this card! Hugs, Brenda

Cute, Cute Cute! I love when you use motifs with this little big ears mouse. Love the design, and of course the R,W & B. Some great texture with the embossed stars - ditto the dimensional layers. The added little brown critters are just more cuteness (but I prefer them THIS way!). We are about 5 hours inland so should not get any of the storm problems. Just hoping for a little rain - maybe! Hope all is well up your way, and you got dried out from _your_ rain! Happy wkend. TFS & Hugs
