Happy Haunting

Halloween is just around the corner and I was in the mood to create something for that upcoming occasion. I sponged a piece of card with 3 different blue distress inks, while masking a circle in the middle to represent the moon. I swiped a few streaks of mustard and squeezed lemon distress ink through the center of the moon to create shadows, then added a die-cut raven on a branch from Gina Marie Designs. I gave him an eye with a white gel pen. I stamped a flying bird from SNSS, a 2 bats from a stick stamp by Judith, and added some gold stars which were negatives from a SSS heart border die, along with some glitter Nuvo drops for more tiny stars. The sentiment was computer generated, and I added an IO die-cut ghost with orange eyes and mouth to finish this card. The card base is Lemon Lime from SU!

I'm entering this card into the Double D Challenge - the Moon and/or Stars which includes this mood board to use for inspiration:

Thanks for the visit, it's always appreciated and I leave you with my best wishes for a wonderful day! Life is good :)

You are always full of clever ideas! :d This raven against the full moon is spooky and fun! Your inked background and your moon with shades are wonderful! You catched so well the halloween feel and have done a so creative take of the challenge! The flying bird and bats with the stars and drops add some texture and the banner with ghost are just perfect! Well done!
