I was asked to make a few wedding cards and this is one from that request. I pulled out my old SU! owl punch and made a bride and groom all dressed up for a wedding. They were both made from snippets of cardstock and dsp, and I embossed the bride's "gown" with a Sizzix damask ef and added white pearls all down the front. I fussy cut a veil for her, adding a tiny snippet of white tulle and some more pearls. His tux came from a DCWV paper stack and I hand-made his hat, adding diamonds along the brim. I glittered the branches they're perched on with Frosted Lace stickles, and also added the stickles to the Martha Stewart punched ferns between them. I die-cut a Gina Marie stitched oval and matted it with a SB petite oval scalloped die, and placed it all on a white card base, adding clear heart gems and a big red one to the groom's chest. I added glossy accents to the eyes and the silver-embossed SU! sentiment was placed on a glittered silver snippet of cardstock. I can't help smiling when I look at this card - I'm pleased with the way it turned out :)
I'm sharing it with the Snippets Playground #327 because it's made entirely of snippets that were lying on my craft table :)
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your weekend is off to a great start!

That is so adorable that I can't find the right words. Such details! I just love her little headpiece!
What a fun wedding card. So cute and fun! I am sure this will be a card they will always cherish.
Oh Carol, this is super cute! What a lovely card to cherish and enjoy!
This is just as cute as it can be. You've added so many clever details on their outfits. If you cut the vest and mitered it, you surely did an excellent job. Not sure if that was how you got this design or if it was part of the paper. Also loving the hat and the bride's headdress. Those eyes just made me grin - love that they are looking at each other. The ferns add a nice festive woodsy touch to the oval and branch. I chk'd Darnell's instructions. If I understood correctly, she said to go to comments, awaiting moderation and publish from there. I don't understand about all this new privacy stuff, but I read through Darnell's. Need to ask if we all need to add that as a page section, changing to our own info. Or if this is what is causing the email notification to mess up. TFS & Hugs
What a brilliant card Carol, so many lovely details.
