TMS #453

Hello stampers - another Tuesday has rolled around again, and this week we're working on the Tuesday Morning Sketch #453 by Melissa.

I found this pre-colored image in my stash and I have no idea how it landed in my hands, but I decided it would make a cute birthday card for a child. I die cut the image with a stitched oval, and placed it on a MFT fishtail banner cut from turquoise. I added a lemon-lime horizontal panel that was embossed with a square lattice ef by SU! and placed it on a Berry Burst card base. The little curlyQ's are strips of dsp that were wound around a knitting needle and adhered to the top of the panel. I added some random Nuvo drops to add to the festive party theme of my card.

Here's the prize up for grabs this week just by playing along...

And here's the sketch for you to work with....

Here are my DT members blogs where you can check out their creations for some inspiration...

I'm also entering this card into the Shopping our Stash #354 challenge - "for the kids."

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find time to come and play along with us! Have a great Tuesday!

Well, however she landed, she is adorable. The streamers at the top are awesome. Good idea! This will be a fun sketch to play with. 90 is going to be a bit much today. Hope the bad storms avoid us later.

That's so creative to do the little squiggly things at the top! I'll have to try that for sure. Love that image! What a little doll she is. Cute card and a great sketch.
