It's time for the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge #443 and this time it's all about the circles.
My card began with some distress inks smeared on a craft sheet. I used Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, and Tumbled Glass. I spritzed them with water and dabbed the wc paper into the inks, twisting and turning to pick up the colors. I put it aside to let it dry and began stamping images from a SNSS Hello Spring stamp set, then die cut them all with MFT stitched circles. I colored the images with Copics and glaze pens, and sponged distress inks in coordinating colors around the edges, and finally I added some Taylored Expressions enamel dots.
Here's the prize up for grabs for this week's challenge and it's just in time for making your Easter cards.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great week. We are bracing for yet another heavy snowstorm with numerous power outages possible for tonight into tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we don't lose power like we did with last week's wicked storm! There are still some 40,000 people in the surrounding area without power and here comes another heavy hitter less than a week later! The long range forecast calls for the possibility of snow again next Monday into Tuesday as well! Old man winter is holding onto this year for dear life it seems, but look at this.....
Yep! That's Spring just around the corner!!!!
:)

Your little chicks are so cute! Love them!
Your spring is not the kind we want around the corner, lol! Hope you are safe and warm during the storm. We’ll be crossing our fingers about the power too.
Haha on the Spring around the corner joke! I hope soon that Spring will come and these Nor'easters will go elsewhere. They really do some damage, don't they? Your card is every bit of lovely as spring is, Carol! Love your beautifully colored images and that background is fantastic! Amazing card for this week's sketch! I hope I can find the time to play along this week. I am ripping & tearing my house apart now that the kids have moved out!
Brilliant card and those chicks are cute.

Carol this is absolutely ADORABLE! That was the perfect way to showcase those little chicks. Love the background you created. I recently bought a craft sheet but have yet to play with it and my inks like this. You rocked this weeks sketch for sure.
Stay safe in this next storm! Wish I was in the heavier accumulation area! ;-) Looks like 3" here if I'm lucky. Always like 1 big snow for the year specially this week when the Hubby is home and son is on spring break would have been nice. We had strong wind last week but power only blinked off once for less than 5 min here which surprised me but I think we were on the protected side of the hill a lot of the winds were blocked so to speak. In town they lost power for several hours.
LOL!!!! I'm so glad "spring" has almost made it around the corner!
Love your cute card with all those tiny little chicks. That's a great sketch too - so different and fun. Great background with the distress inks.
I'll be thinking of you and everyone else up that was with the crazy weather. Stay warm and safe.

Your card is just lovely. I so like the background you've created. It is perfect. The little images work wonderfully together, and really like the chalked/inked edges around your circles. You knocked this one out of the park, girlfriend!
The background and colours are lovely together, the chicks are super cute and look adorable on the stitched circles. Oh gosh, more snow - lets hope the forecasters are wrong on this occasion x
A super Easter card Carol, a lovely background and sweet chicks.

Lovely spring like colours in your background. The little easter chicks are so cute too, this is a beautiful card.
I hope you keep warm and safe during the next snow storm. We had a some snow last week, very unusual for this area so it caused quite a bit of disruption even though we had plenty of warning and the snow was really nothing to what some other areas have had.

Oh my, the crazy bad weather hasn't finished yet to go around the world! Stay warm and safe! Hope that the power will be not lose in your zone!
Lovely playing with the inked background and such cute chicks, they are just perfect for Easter!
Hugs and take care!
I really like this cute and adorable card design. Sure looks like Spring with those fun colors and images.
Love that background. at first thought it was Brushos! The little chick motifs are just adorable, and I love the way you've done the staggered circles on the layout sketch too. I thought about ya'll when I heard Storm #2 is on the way. Praying your heat stays on so you can be warm and have lights at night too! TFS & Hugs
Oops, forgot to say I smiled at your sense of humor about the spring around the corner!!!
Love your background colours and the use of those great dies with such lovely images for this lovely card Carol, as for your spring around the corner? I had to laugh, well done.

You're little peeps were such an inspiration for me. Great use of that sketch! I am going to play kick the can with spring. I had one of those spring time flocks of starlings and red wing blackbirds come visit this morning. They wiped out my feeders, like they had not seen food in days! I don't think they were expecting this snow. Stay warm!
how fun and darling little chicks .......Lis
HA HA you cracked me up!! I'm so ready for spring and your card does make me feel like we're almost there :) perfectly springy!
The photo of the snow and spring made me smile. Our snow is finally all melted and although we had a few flakes a couple of days ago, Mother Nature it appears to have changed her mind and rain instead!
Your car is fabulous. How I like that circle design. Your background is so beautiful too!
Cute card! Your BG is so cool! I need to play around with inks.
Haha! Love that spring is just around the corner!
awesome Easter card ...love the little chicks ..thank you for sharing your card
Very fun card! I love the smooshed inks - great watercolor effect. It's a wonderful backdrop for the sweet little chickies.
I hope you fared well with the storm. Love your tongue in cheek photo, too.
