Twist n Pop Wedding Card

I had a request from a friend to make a special wedding card by using some elements from the invitation. The theme focused mainly on the two different states the bride and groom are from, so I decided to go with a twist'n pop card for more space to be creative. This is the front of the card, done with vanilla and gold foil cardstock. The embossing was done with a Cuttlebug geometric rings ef and the heart was die-cut with stitched heart dies. The sentiment was heat-embossed with gold ep and a SU! Beautiful Bouquet stamp, and the leaves were die-cut with SU! Bouquet  Bunch framelits. The flowers were done with a SU! mini punch and dotted with a pearl pen. I also dotted all the centers on the embossed panel with the pearl pen. and then made a belly band to hold the card closed.

Here is the lower portion of the card. I removed the top portion from the photo because their names and personal information were included. This was heat-embossed with gold using the same SU! stamps and framelits as stated above.
After it was finished, I decided to make a little box to hold the card, so here's what I made...

It pretty much mirrors the card but I added some gold metallic ribbon to the SB Fancy Tags Two die-cut sentiment panel and added 2 smaller stitched die-cut hearts with the bride and groom's initials done with my Quickutz. I dotted the surface with the pearl pen as well. You can click the photos to enlarge for details. The gold heat-embossed sentiment is a retired stamp from SU!.

Thanks for stopping by and make this Friday a great one!

Wow Carol, this wedding card is just amazing and you made a matching box, too!! Great choice of white and gold, a top of elegance, and the stitched die-cut hearts with the tiny flowers look fabulous on that embossing! Love so much also the inside and the matching box with the pearls in the crosses!
Surely the new couple will be stunned! :) Very well done!

How Beautiful! So many wonderful details! I know that they are going to treasure this card! Hope you like doing the twist and pop card! I may be a copy cat and make a box for my next twist and pop card. (Hope you don't mind) It really is a great idea to do that with the card...and to be honest with you...I would never have thought of it!
