TMS #440

Hello and welcome to another Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge. This week we're working on sketch #440 but we're revisiting Melissa's favorite sketch of the past year and it's #415. This is the last week of revisiting sketches and next week we move on to all new sketches.

I used a piece of blue cardstock and added an angled piece of vanilla that was embossed with a plaid ef. I added die-cut and punched stars in assorted sizes with gold mirror cardstock and placed them according to the sketch. The sentiment was stamped and hand-cut at an angle that just seemed to fit the sharp angles of the stars and top portion. I kept it simple for a masculine birthday card.

Melissa is sponsoring this week and has a great stamp set up for grabs, so check out the TMS blog for details. While you're there, be sure to check out the rest of the DT's cards as they are really amazing as always!

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Tuesday!

Carol

Fantastic card Carol. The color blue is beautiful and I love that embossing folder you used on the top part - it's the perfect backdrop for those gold stars.

Love the sketch design, and you've aced it beautifully. The textured linen look of the blue c/s looks very pretty with the embossed white plaid. The fall of gold stars, a clever way to carry out the sketch too. TFS
