Cool Yule

Sorry for the bad photo - I missed the opportunity to photograph this while the sun was shining brightly.
I was recently sent this cute penguin image, so I colored it with Copics and used Lil Inker stitched rectangles to cut it out, along with the purple mat. The dsp is by Echo Park Winter Wishes and I cut a diagonal stitched panel from GinaK Blue Raspberry cardstock to match the scarf. The snowflakes were done with a MS punch, and I added some foiled silver and blue snowflake stickers to the centers. The MFT sentiment was heat-embossed with white on a snippet of more Blue Raspberry cardstock.

I'm sharing with the following challenges:

Craftyhazelnut's CHNC #370 - always Christmas, optional - no sentiment

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Monday! We had temps near 60 over the weekend and yet again, more snow is coming this evening into tomorrow??? I guess we'll be bundling back up again :)

This card is adorable, Carol! Love that sweet penguin bundled up for cold weather! I personally had enough of the cold but not much we can do about it. Spring hopefully will come early this year! LOL Sorry for the lane swerve. Love the Echo Park paper you used and that stitched die to make the slanted piece! Perfect holiday card! TFS and stay warm! Hugs~

Cute! That is a stamp by D.O.T.S. called Peter Penguin.;-) Love the colors you used and the way you added the foil stickers to the center of the snowflakes. I've been liking the 50 degree weather too but we have Feb to get thru yet so imagine there is more winter to go. Think this one is going to just be a nuisance one and possibly again on Friday?!

Sun? What is that? Certainly not that white stuff that's coming down right now? Smile. Makes for a good day to make cards though!
Your little penguin is really cute...like how you colored him.
