More 3D Tags

I had time to create a couple more 3D tags like the one I shared in the post below this one. For this tag I used the largest tree die in the Perfect Pines SU! framelit set and cut it with white. I also cut the tree stand from the same framelit die set with a snippet of dark brown. The tag itself was done with 2 SU! punches; the scalloped top tag and rounded corner. I dotted the tree with gold stickles and added a triple twine bow.

I know the SU! ornament punch is retired, but I'll never part with mine. I used it to make this 3D tag, stamping each ornament with white pigment ink before assembling. I used a very vanilla tag with some gray & silver twisted divine twine from Pizzazz Aplenty that I've had for ages. I also hand-cut a topper for the ornament with silver mirror card, and added silver stickles to the outside edges. Both tags have a sentiment from the SU! Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

Have you tried making any of these 3D tags yet? They're fun and will really dress up those boxes or bags you're giving for Christmas gifts! Check the blog post below this one for a link to the video tutorial.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Monday!

Carol

These are just adorable, and so pretty. I pinned the green tree from pinterest. Then saw your name on it! What a fab idea to fancy up a gift tag. TFS & Hugs

These are so sweet. I really like this new one with the ornament/bauble.
I am thinking these might look great on a tree assembled on their own. I think i even have some ornaments I was going to donate to the thrift shop...but now I am going to rip off the tops and glue the paper cut ornament inside so I can hang them on the tree!

Mine will be kraft with iredescent glitter on the edges. Think they will make a great winter project for next years tree!

Wonderful work, Carol.

Many old punches and dies are precious, as these you used here! Love your tags with the faux 3D effect, I have to try with this technique!! It seems simple to realize, but very effective!
