I have a Christmas card for you today that was made with a lantern die gifted to me by a good friend. I cut it several times from black, red, green and gold and swapped the negative pieces into the die, adding some color to the candle and other areas with Copics. The white circle is a die cut from Stitched circles by MFT, while the red scalloped border was done with SB scalloped circles. The "Merry" sentiment is a die from Sunny Studio, and the embossed background was done with a Sizzix Hello Friend ef.
I'm entering this into the following challenges:
Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge CHNC #350 - a/g as long as it's Christmas with an option of adding flowers or foliage.
the CHNC Christmas challenge extra for Sept - a/g as long as it's Christmas
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Sunday. Praying for those affected by the devastating hurricanes and earthquakes around the globe.

Love this lantern die and you've done well popping all those little pieces back in - very effective.

Beautiful design, Carol, lovely CAS Christmas card. xx
I see some "Carol Therapy" being done with this card! Love all the festive colors used to make it come to life!
There is a lot of work in this card. I know it is not easy to cut so many colours and then pop them in and out to create your scene.
Great card, Carol!
What a lovely Christmas card this is. The lantern is very pretty. Lovely design work. Barbxx
I love this bright and cheerful Christmas card. You did a great job putting all the little coloured bits back in the die cut lantern, it looks fabulous.

Beautiful!! That die is fabulous!! And it's so intricate that the simple background is perfect for it! Thanks for playing with CHNCC2.
Such a pretty Christmas card! I love that embossing folder, wish I would have gotten it. Have a few that I embossed with a friends folder years ago that I use sparingly.
Thanks for entering both of my CHNC challenges with your lovely crafting - hope to see you again soon. x
