I see that the calendar rolled around to the 25th of the month which means it's Rudolph Days again! Time to make some Christmas cards!
I used some textured Wild Wasabi cardstock from SU!, including some favorite Wasabi stitched ribbon to match. I cut the white panel at an angle, embossing with a SU! softly fallen snowflake folder, then stamped the retired SU! sentiment on the un-embossed portion. I placed them together on the card base with a piece of Wild Wasabi ribbon covering the separated panels. The tree was done with a SU! tree punch and I dotted it with gold stickles. The last step was to punch a star with a SU! mini star punch from red foil cardstock.
I liked the way this turned out so I made a couple more. I used a different snowflake embossing folder on each card for a little variety.
These are being shared over at the August Rudolph Days challenge where it's always a Christmas theme to help us get our Christmas cards done on time. The challenge is only open until the last day of August.
Thanks for stopping by and have yourself a great weekend too!

I love your tree cards, that's a nice idea to cut at an angle, and the embossing contrasts nicely with the plain. Happy RD xxx

The angle on these cards is a clever design feature, and makes a great backdrop for the cute tree. The red star adds a nice pop of colour too.

What a great idea to divide the white section and emboss part of it - a good way to use up strips of ribbon too (I have loads to use up!!)
