Back in the Barnyard Again :)

I had someone ask me to make a card with some chickens on it so this is the result. I began with a piece of cherry cobbler and used a SU! bricked stencil and some embossing paste to create the brick wall. Next I added a Martha Stewart punched fence, while the lower portion was done with a SU! wooden background stamp with Early Espresso ink and a snippet of kraft cardstock. I stamped the chicks from the SU! Hey Chick! stamp set;colored them with Copics and fussy cut them to place on the wooden panel. I stamped some grass on the lower portion of the fence with a stick stamp by Judith and some VersaColor green ink, and added a green sprig of die-cut taller grass behind the fence. The sentiment is from the SU! Hey Chick stamp set, and I added a little touch of chicken feed with some gel pens.

I'm sharing this with the Shopping our Stash #317 Wood is Good challenge - use wood grain, wood pieces, or both.

Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

I love that when you color that Polish chicken with the top feathers, that you make her look like Goldie Hawn in the 80's! LOL! Too funny! Amen to your nice neat bricks, and that fancy wooden floor!
