I made a Christmas card for 2017 to build up my stash for later this year. I began with a kraft base, stamping it randomly with many of my assorted snowflake stamps and Brilliance Platinum Planet ink. It looks much prettier IRL than this photo shows. I die cut a couple of Lawn Fawn stitched snowflakes in mirror silver and red cardstock. I also cut the sentiment from the mirror silver with a Cottage Cutz die. I rounded all the corners with a punch and placed it on a red card base and that's pretty much all there was to this card.
Here's a close-up angled photo of the background stamping with Brilliance ink. It has a beautiful shimmer when you tilt the card back and forth. These can easily be mass produced with different colors too.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

I love your pretty card, the background is really pretty! I rarely use my brilliance inks, but now I feel I should get some out to stamp snowflakes! The large snowflake is really bright and makes a statement! Great job!
Oh my... nothing like getting a jump on next year. I did a few, myself. If we are not having real snow we might as well make flakes out of paper, right? This is very pretty, Carol. I must give my Platinum ink a look and a workout!
Very sparkly and festive card! Love the stitched snowflake and the background!
This card is so lovely! I like the way you created the background panel with the stamped snowflake. I must check and see if I have that ink!
The center duet of snowflakes are beautiful and pop off the page!
Thanks for taking part in the January Rudolph Days Challenge.
I just love all of this shinny silver on your design Carol! Always a great idea to get a stash built up for sure! :) Happy weekend! HUGS

Hard to imagine this starting out life as kraft card. It looks really pretty stamped with the snowflakes and then the silver over the top. Hugs Mrs A.

What a beautiful Christmas card for your stash Carol! I am so loving that background you created. At first when you said you started out with a kraft base, I wondered where it was. lol Then I realized that is what you stamped you background on with the snowflakes. I so love how that background came out and I really love that ink. I so want to get it, need to look and see if Amazon has it. The die cut snowflake with the pop of red is so pretty and I love the red card base. Hugs, Brenda

That mirrored snowflake and greeting really makes this card. Kraft and red go well together too.
Silver on Kraft...who knew it could be so pretty. The background silver looks very subtle, but the center snowflake sure shines out. Like the tiny red center too! The red frame around the kraft sparks it up so festively. The enlargement shows up the background snowflakes so well, and bet that it sparkles IRL. And love the stitched snowflake too! TFS & Hugs
