I made a set of quilted Christmas thank-you cards with some leftover snippets of SU! Christmas dsp, and today I'm sharing one of those cards. I began with 1" punched squares, cutting some in half, and the others cut in half diagonally. I arranged them in a pattern that was pleasing to my eye and glued them onto a 3x3 square. I added an I.O. die-cut button to the center, cutting strips of matching green cardstock to weave through the buttonholes. The colors are cherry cobbler, gumball green, and white, with a SU! sentiment done in cherry cobbler ink.
I'm sharing this with the following challenges:
the Snippets Playground #257 - must use snippets
Cards in Envy Challenge - make a thank you card
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful week ahead. Good luck with Cyber Monday shopping too :)

Carol, this card is so pretty with those wonderful holiday colors and patterns and I love the button! I don't know how you do all those little pieces of dsp but my eyes would be so wonky from it but it's beautiful!! TFS and I hope your doing well. Hugs~
Always LOVE your clever quilted cards! I love geometry (even if in my works it doesn't seem... LOL) and your pattern for this card looks very festive and pleasant! The cute button in the center is just perfect! Great use of your scraps! I have to try this technique, before or after!
Hugs!
Beautiful! I love these quilted creations and the papers you used all go together really well!

Your quilt card is so beautiful. I love how you did it and the mix of papers that you used. Great job!
What a great arrangement of these very pretty papers and the button is a great final touch for this quilt. I'll be casing this one for sure. Love the font on your sentiment. Hope you have a good day.
You are the quilting queen! I bow down to your expertise and skill. This is very cool with those patterns mixed together. I really like how you use die cut buttons to cut down on bulk and you inspired me to buy some. I didn't realize that you put strips of paper through the holes, but that is very brilliant and you can be sure I will copy that idea as well.
Lovely and creative card, loving the colours..Sorry if I have missed some of your creations Carol, still got this nasty virus which is draining..xx {aNNie}
I'm a big fan of quilted cards! So you know that I really like this one!

Love your quilts, and what's better than a Christmas quilt. Pretty snippets and of course a quilt needs some buttons! You will know I love this one!!! Hugs
Oops, just caught the bit (thanks to PJ!) about the 'thread' in the button holes being paper! and that the button was paper too! Looks very realistic!! Hugs
Such a great card! I have been missing a few posts due to the new blogger setup...just not working correctly
I'm a quilter and as such you know I love this card! Beautifully done.
So, you made this without a die? WOW! That's pretty darn impressive, Carol. What a pretty card! Thanks so much for playing along with our Thank You Challenge at Cards in Envy. :)
