Today I have a simple birthday card making use of some red, white, and blue cardstock and papers from my stash. The image is by Penny Black and I colored it with Tombow markers; then layered it on some Spellbinder Labels Four dies. The diagonal strip was done with a Lil Inker diagonal stitched die.
I'm sharing this with the Penny Black Saturday challenge which is a birthday theme. They're celebrating their 8th birthday with a blog hop, so be sure to check it out!
Thanks for stopping by and here's wishing you a wonderful day!

Super card, Carol. Such a fun image and great design. xx
Very interesting design, love seeing all the lines and the layers with alternating colours! Cute image, too, just perfect for the nesting frame!
What a fabulous patriotic birthday card. That is one of the sweetest PB stamps ever (and I've never seen it before).
Not quite enough candles for me, but it will have to do for us old people. LOL Love the dies and that diagonal strip. Nice soft, dainty sponging. We are just getting thunder storms now and will have more tomorrow afternoon. Have a good night.
Awww, this is such a cute card Carol! I love that little mouse with his cake and candles. It's like he is saying, "Three cheers for me!". lol I love the red/white/blue color combo-patriotic cards always grab my attention. And you have used some fabulous pattern paper on this one Carol. Hugs, Brenda
