I love these Tim Holtz crazy birds and can't stop playing with them! I bought them along with a few other crafty items from Lisa at the Purple Place. She's selling her crafty items very reasonably on her blog. Right now the sale page is taking a break while she gets the rest she needs, but she'll have it back up in a few days when she feels better. Check the details here.
I found this cute Penny Black hedgie image in my stash and decided to pair it with this silly bird. The hedgie is looking up, and the bird is looking down, so together they're a hoot! LOL I covered the boot with crackle glossy accents and fussy cut the image to place on the card base. The sun die is by Lil Inker, with a center cut with a Poppystamps Stitched Holly Leaves and Berries die. The flying bird was cut with a Gina Marie designs die and the sentiment was in my stash box, all ready to put on this card. The sky was sponged with Ranger tumbled glass ink and the bird and hedgie were colored with Copics.
I'm entering this into the Shopping our Stash #254 challenge which is "elements." From the water, earth, fire, wind elements. I chose earth.

This card put a smile on my face for sure. The bird and the hedgie just do not know what to make of each other.

Love the way you have paired these stamps. That bird looks as if it is scolding that hedgie! Or else giving him some sage advice!!!
