While visiting a stamp show last year, I found a woman at the "Rubber Cottage stamps" booth making these tags and giving them away as samples. I've kept the tag in my stash since then, and decided it was time to put it on a card. I stamped the sentiment at my friend Mary Anne's house, and of course I didn't write the mfr. on the back at the time, so I'm not sure who makes it. I colored it in an ombre style with Spectrum Noir Aqua markers and Copics. I added a few tiny hearts along with a stitched heart from Lil Inker. I embossed the background with a Hero Arts/Sizzix Chevrons ef and called this one done.
I'm sharing this over at the Tuesday Throwdown#258 which is to add texture.
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great Tuesday!

Beautiful card and the sentiment is colored so nicely. Love those hearts with the zebra. I just bought an elephant and Giraffe for our living room decor and was thinking I needed a zebra also and now seeing your card, I'm sure of it. Off to the stores I will be going soon to add to my Safari look. Have a good day, stay inside and cool.
I have this tag, also. I have not used mine yet. I just love how you added the pops of bright colors. Adorable!
This is fantastic, Carol! What a great zebra. Great idea to use it on a card. I'm so happy so see you playing along in our "Texture" challenge at Tuesday Throwdown this week. Good luck in the draw and I hope we're going to see you in future challenges, too.

This is such a lovely card Carol. The tag is lovely and I really like the embossing folder. The sentiment is just perfect for the subject and I really like the way you've coloured it in the ombre style. Barbxx

Wild Thing! It is by DOTS, from back in the day. I used to have it. It always makes me think of the song. Great card and good job using up something from your stash! When I was a little kid I was told I could be anything I wanted to be.... (another lie they tell children) so I wanted to be a zebra!
This is a beautiful zebra tag and I like the coloured hearts you added. Fabulous sentiment stamp and perfect for this card.

This zebra is cool and her (I think she is a female... .D )eyes are so sweet, you have done very well to use this tag for your card! You have added so lovely details, the hearts matches great with the black and white and the colourful sentiment gives an adorable touch! Love the embossed background! You are very talented, your designs are always so brilliant!
You did a great job showcasing her beautiful zebra tag, Carol! Now I have that song as an ear worm! I think I've done that to you before, so now we're even, lol!! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell

That sentiment is just to die for. Made me laugh, and it's perfect with this Zebra. Love his expression, and the tag design is great against the brick pattern of the embossing. How do you like the SN aqua markers? Have a great weekend. TFS
