I Wheelie Like You!

I followed the OWH sketch challenge #249 to make this card today. I used Lawn Fawn "I Wheelie Like You" stamps and matching dies to create the image panel, coloring with Copics. I found some color-coordinated card stock pieces to match the bitty banners done with a SU! punch and Lawn Fawn dsp. The border was done with a MS arch lattice punch, and the twine is from Lawn Fawn. The little white heart was a random die cut piece I found in my box of hearts.

In addition to the OWH sketch challenge, I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

the Simon Says Wednesday challenge which is anything goes - featuring                                                                   Lawn Fawn products.

the Snippets Playground #166 - which is to use snippets.

the Mod Squad challenge -Spring Forward - use spring-inspired images such as                                         flowers, birds, butterflies, or spring colors)

                                           OWH Sketch 249

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope the spring colors in this card make you feel a tad bit warmer today! We're waiting for yet another snowstorm to start any minute now and last all day............sigh. Can somebody please do something to make mother Nature smile again??? LOL

I love all the colorful banners to go along with the colorful wheel. It's just the cutest card, Carol. The little heart was a wonderful finishing touch.

Ah, so super cute, Carol! You beat me to it. I just got this set for Hammy (but, of course, it was MADE for him, lol!) yesterday and he's had so many ideas, he is incoherent! This snippets inspiration should settle him down!

Now I'll have a talk with hormonal Mother Nature and see if we can settle her down, too! Hang in there! Hugs, Darnell

What a great card Carol! I love the sketch and your take on it, it is spot on! That little hamster and wheel is so dang cute. I love the color combo and snippets of papers you used on this cute card. Yep, woke up to it snowing, snowed most of the day and then turned to freezing rain. Now icicles are hanging and a glaze of ice is over the snow. I sure hope since March came in like lion, that it goes out like lamb!!! This weather is getting down right depressing between the snow, ice and cold. When Canada and Alaska are warmer than we are, something is not right! lol Hugs, Brenda

Oh my heck! I LOVE this card. Is this a newer Lawn Fawn set? I must have it. I had the best hamster ever! She would stand on her hind leg (she had to have one amputated) and wait for me to feed the cats and then wish her good morning. She would get out of her cage all the time and terrorize the cats.

I like all your happy colors and all the fun banners. This is a great card.

You did a great job with this challenge and you got to use your, oh so loved, wheelie set. Great! I know you tried to warm us up with these spring colors and I wanted you to know you did. It is 28° this morning, which is so much better than last week's temps. We got about 6 inches last night and more to come on Tuesday night and possibly Thursday. I think you have a while before your request to Mother Nature is granted. LOL Enjoy your day.

Snow, ugh, just ugh. UGH. I hear you on that. My friends & I talk all the time about the hamster wheel in our heads (you know, for those obsessive thoughts) and I'm thinking I might neeeeeeed this stamp set!
