Watercolor Sympathy
The Simon Says Stamp challenge this week is to use watercolors. I began with a piece of watercolor paper, and scribbled it with watercolor crayons, then used a wet brush to move the colors to create a beach scene. I stamped some birds and silhouette images from SNSS, adding footprints in the sand with a borrowed stamp set from my friend Mary Anne. For the final touch, I matted with cool caribbean and black cardstock, and added a SU! sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by and make it a great day!

ReplyDeleteI like the really thin layered borders on this card. What the heck, I LOVE the whole card, not just the borders. It is a peaceful scene.
ReplyDeleteWow Carol I am so loving your watercolor beach scene! It is amazing and I can see myself walking along that shore line right now! lol Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteBeautiful water color card Carol. Love the scene and those little birds.
ReplyDeleteI've yet to even attempt to do any water coloring what so ever! Maybe one day.
