Mosaic Top Note

While sorting through my overflowing stash of pre-made elements, I found this mosaic top note I'd made some time ago and just put aside for unknown reasons. I used assorted snippets of black, grey, and vanilla colors, adhering them in random fashion on a piece of card stock that was run through my Zyron. After all the pieces were adhered, I added some gold ep and heat embossed it, giving the mosaic look. (click to enlarge for detail) I stamped a SU! blended bloom flower twice on vanilla cardstock and fussy-cut and popped both layers up on foam tape, adding a big gold brad to the center. The leaves were done with strips of black cardstock, folded lengthwise, and run through a paper crimper diagonally. Then I just hand-cut them in oval shapes, working around the fold, open them up and voila!
I added a gold embossed sentiment, placed this on a light grey card base and called it done!

I'm sharing this with all the wonderful playmates over at the Snippets Playground #145.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful day!

Carol
