Challenge 1 - make "his and hers" cards using an OWH sketch. I used sketch #171 for hers...
and his.
Challenge #2 is to make a thank-you card and use spray ink. I don't have any spray inks, so I just made a thank-you card.
Challenge #3 is to make a paper-pieced card for kids.
Challenge #5 - Make a card with a colorful background using ink, paint, or scraps. If you use paper, you must use scraps or at least 5 different papers.
Challenge #7 is the July ODBD challenge to use "Things with Wings."
Challenge #8 is to make a "Miss You" card using at least 1 circle and at least 2 banners.
Challenge #9 is "masculine vintage."
Challenge #10 is to use 3 different textures.
Challenge #12 is to make a red, white & blue Christmas card.
For those of you counting along, I didn't skip #6.........I just haven't come up with an idea for that challenge yet :)
Thanks for staying with me for this long post! I hope to finish all 18 challenges in due time :)

Hi, Carol.
What can I say? You've created another fabulous collection of cards. Think that Miss You card is my favorite. LOVE that design. Hmmm.... think I feel a CASE coming on. :)
Thanks so much for playing along with the his and hers challenge!
You GO GIRL!!! I am so impressed with the huge variety of amazing cards you have created for the VCMD challenges! Way to go!! Special thanks for playing in our Paper-Piecing Challenge over on the A2Z Scrapbooking Blog. Good Luck on ALL your entires too!
Of course, my very favorite is the card you made with today's sketch, because of that adorable stamp with the two loving "FurBabies"....it touched my heart right away!!
I'm HOPING that tonight we will sleep well here, after one night with the Hurricane Rain and the next night with Fireworks, which is just AWFUL for dogs who fear them like my Scoutie boy! And what's worse, it's not even legal to use them here and also a fire hazard....when people in the neighborhoods shot them off. I was burned by one, years ago at a party and was NO where NEAR when they were shooting them off, but one went backwards and hit my hand two stories up on a deck we were sitting on. I had 2nd degree burns and had to go to the ER which was not fun having them peel off the burned skin...but a must do for burns!! Yikes!!!
Praying they are OVER for this year and that only the Official fireworks, "not so close to home" will be more tolerable for my boy!! It's so hard to comfort him and I hate seeing how distressed he is...bummer!!
Thanks for sharing all the great pieces of art!
Hugs,
Lisa
Great job, Carol! I can't wait to see the rest! I've skipped a few on the list also, my brain just couldn't process everything that fast, plus it's so darn nice out, I hate to miss so much of it.
All of your cards are great! I love your vintage card. Reminds me of the old stock car races. thanks for joining my challenge.
Once again Carol, you have met and exceeded that mark of excellence. Each of these cards will be so well received by both the heroes and their family members. Outstanding work and a very productive weekend.
Sorry about Tony getting in that wreck, I'm going back to watch a few laps now while munching on some chicken wings. LOL. Enjoy your evening.
Well, at least I know what you've been doing this weekend! LOL! You've been SUPER busy!!! All of these are just fantastic - each and every one! Wonderful set of cards.
(I think Blogger must be doing tricks again - I can see you posted but nothing is showing up through Blogger) At least I got to see them all!

Aw, more goodness. That Ford grabbed my attention immediately, but based on my recent R,W & Blue efforts, I was real taken with the snippets on #4. What a wonderful way to brighten up that birthday card, and clean up some snippets too! That flamingo was a hoot, and so was every single other card! You rock, lady! TFS & Hugs

Great job on your cards for the VCM party! Love the masculine vintage the best, I think it was the flames. :)
Great group of cards. Of course I love the blue and white card with the hearts best! How did you do the dots? Inquiring minds want to know! Thanks for supporting OWH, and for taking the Texture Challenge!!!
