Here's my card for the Cards4Guyz #11 - Gone Fishing challenge. I don't know where my mind was when I was making this card to be honest?! I used some Graphic45 papers and put together a few digi images for this one. The mermaid image was a download, but there's no name to it, while the sentiment is from Tiddlyinks. The fishing pole is clip art I found in my collection, while the tiny fish was done with a punch. I added a few eyelets and some twine to the fishing pole and an anchor eyelet at the bottom of the "ocean."

I think your mind was just right on this Carol. This isn't your usual type of card and I really had to do a double take - but I LOVE it!!! So cute. The fishing pole - super creative. Yep, I love this card!

Fantastic idea to add those eyelets and twine to the fishing pole. That sentiment is darling and the mermaid is just an added surprise for any guy. Great job. Enjoy the day. Still no sun here.

This is a cool card Carol, not like I'm used to seeing from you, but I love it all the same! I think that mermaid is fabulous and I love that fishing rod and fish. Your color combo is awesome too. Very cute and creative! Hugs

Your mind was on making a great card! Which you did! Love this little mermaid (and would would a guy!). That bkgrnd paper is pretty with the mermaid, and your clipart pole is a win. How you happened to just have such in your stash...and remembered where it was...I'm impressed! Cause I wouldn't! Love the little dangle fish - never saw this punch. Ooh! What a fun card. What guy wouldn't like to catch a mermaid, especially a sweetie like this one. That greeting is a scream.
