Rudolph Day for November

Here's my card for the November 2014 Rudolph Day challenge, which is to make a festive Christmas card. I'm using one of my favorite stamps - a Hero Arts wired star. The image was embossed with gold ep on a dark green panel, and edged with a gold paint pen. I added a hand-cut banner that was gold-embossed with a SU! sentiment, and added a kraft panel and some red card stock. The ribbon is from my local scrapbook store.

Thanks for stopping in and do have yourself a wonderful day!

Oh Love it. I don't think I've ever seen that star before. You did it proud, girlfriend. Love that ribbon also.

Loved your star stamp. Looks like a zentangle, sort of! Great idea with the Gold EF, and you had so many interesting papers & shapes that it was a treat to just sit & look at each thing. Hope it's not too dreadfully cold up in Pa. I know SC is cold, and So. Fla ain't all that warm either (but warmer than many other places!). TFS, Hugs & Happy Thanksgiving.

Carol, that image is sooo great! I had to look at it a bunch to make sure you didn't just have real wire on this! Beautifully done card my friend. Hugz!

Carol, this card is so pretty! I thought at first you had stitched the star...actually you inspired me to try and stitch a star like that...(don't ask me what year it would get done! LOL)
