Here's my card for the
November 2014 Rudolph Day challenge, which is to make a festive Christmas card. I'm using one of my favorite stamps - a Hero Arts wired star. The image was embossed with gold ep on a dark green panel, and edged with a gold paint pen. I added a hand-cut banner that was gold-embossed with a SU! sentiment, and added a kraft panel and some red card stock. The ribbon is from my local scrapbook store.
Thanks for stopping in and do have yourself a wonderful day!

I see why you love that star, Carol. It is so pretty with the gold embossing. Love that ribbon. Gorgeous card!!!
Oh Love it. I don't think I've ever seen that star before. You did it proud, girlfriend. Love that ribbon also.
I treasure that little box you made me, using this stamp. I love it! Your card is just perfect with jazzy ribbon!
A great choice of colours and layout, the star looks fabulous against the dark green. Wonderful ribbon

The wired star is wonderful and looks stunning against the dark background!
The embossed gold looks fab....so fun to make everything sparkle for Christmas.
Loved your star stamp. Looks like a zentangle, sort of! Great idea with the Gold EF, and you had so many interesting papers & shapes that it was a treat to just sit & look at each thing. Hope it's not too dreadfully cold up in Pa. I know SC is cold, and So. Fla ain't all that warm either (but warmer than many other places!). TFS, Hugs & Happy Thanksgiving.
Carol, that image is sooo great! I had to look at it a bunch to make sure you didn't just have real wire on this! Beautifully done card my friend. Hugz!
Carol, this card is so pretty! I thought at first you had stitched the star...actually you inspired me to try and stitch a star like that...(don't ask me what year it would get done! LOL)
