Cottage Wall for Three

My card today is for three different challenges. I'm trying to use up the retired dsp I've accumulated (yeah, like THAT'S going to happen any time soon!) and this has been a long-time favorite of mine called Cottage Wall from SU!. I paired it with Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive cardstock and used 2 different striped patterns for the OWH Stars and Stamps mid-week throwdown challenge to use "stripes." I followed the Retro Sketch Challenge #56, and I'm also going to enter it into the Simon Says Stamp "anything goes" challenge.

Thanks so much for taking a minute from your busy day to stop by and see what I've been doing! Much appreciated! Now go have yourself a wonderful day!

Carol

stamps - SU! Whimsical Words
paper - Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, White, Cottage Wall dsp
ink - Rich Razzleberry
accessories - Hearts-a-Flutter Banner Die (SU!), SB circles, scalloped circles, MS button punch, Cheery Lynn mini fanciful flourish, SU scallop trim border die, SU Boho Blossoms Punch, brad, olive twine

Your card came out great with the inspiration sketch, might have to that a try! Love vine growing up all over the sentiment.

Just beautiful Carol. I love the two papers together. You always add just the right amount of embellishments to your cards. The flourish, punch and flower are super nice and that button is perfect. It looks like a real button. Have a great night.

So pretty! I love the colors you used, such great contrast. And the embellishments go together wonderfully. I haven't tried that sketch yet, but it looks like fun.

Gorgeous card Carol! I love how you've placed the button over the vine die-cut and essentially turned it into a flower by doing that. I also see the Rule of Thirds (this month's Bootcamp lesson) at work in this design but it's not unusual for someone super talented like you to instinctively apply rules of design without even giving it much thought. :)
