DD35 & ATC4

Here's my poorly-photographed (cloudy day) card for the Dynamic Duos #35 challenge which is to use So Saffron and Certainly Celery to create a breath of spring. I'm also entering this card into the Addicted to CAS #4 challenge which this week uses the code word "emboss." I embossed the white card stock with a Darice Butterflies in Corner ef and then embossed the celery dsp and saffron cs in the same folder and hand-cut the butterflies to place on top of the white embossed butterflies. I added some assorted sizes and shapes of pearls along with some divine twine from Pizzazz Aplenty and stamped a SNSS sentiment with basic grey ink. If only we had some sunshine - or - I had a bright light to take better indoor photos.....sigh :)

I'll have more a little bit later today, but for now I hope this card puts you in  the mood for spring ;)

Yes it does make me think of spring. It is 50 degrees today (no sun though), so between the temps and your card, I'm doing pretty good. The butterflies look so nice sitting above the embossing. Nice job. Enjoy your day.

Yes, yes, it puts me in the mood for Spring. I can hardly wait. I've seen nothing but rain and clouds for days.
Your card is gorgeous, Carol. I love the Spring colors.

It's cloudy here today, too, and I also struggled with getting good photos of my work. Winter is just a hard time to get good photos.

Your card is lovely. The embossed swirls suggest the carefree flight of the butterflies. It just feels so light and floaty!
