The challenge over at the Shopping our Stash #74 is "Out of the jar, or use a jar." The challenge at the OWH Stars and Stamps mid-week throwdown is to create a "friendship" card. I combined both challenges for this card. I used a retired SU! "All Wrapped Up" image of a jar, and filled it with paper buttons, done with a MS punch. All the papers are from the LillyBee Autumn Spice paper pad, and I added some early espresso cardstock for mats. Two of these papers have tiny canning jars on them - I love that! The sentiment is by SNSS, and I added some tiny button brads to the corners of the image. The red punched border was done with an EK lattice chain edger punch, while the tiny scalloped border was done with an EK dotted scallop punch.
This is my 2nd post for today, and I may have another one later today. I suppose I'm making up for not posting anything yesterday :)

Carol, this is so cute and a perfect friendship card! Love all the buttons in the jar - out the one outside too.

Oh so darn cute - those baby buttons. This card all goes together so nice and I see you are getting good use from the MS buttons. I think, after seeing all you've done with them, I'm going to have to get buying. Back out in the back yard. Enjoy the rest of the day.
You've just wowed me again :) Thanks for the great inspiration Carol!
Thanks for playing in our Operation Write Home Midweek Throwdown challenge this week!
Carol, this is adorable!! I love that SU set and will never part with it. Such a cute way to use it with the buttons!
How cute to fill the jar with buttons! And I love the tiny buttons and jars elsewhere on the card--it just all fits together nicely.
Simply adorable, my friend! That background paper is the sweetest!
I love jars filled with stuff!! This is awesome!! OK, I love buttons too. I have TINS filled with buttons. Maybe I should transfer them into JARS!! ;)
Love the way you used the Martha Stewart button punch. I have that punch as well and never really know how to use it - TFS!
This is so great! I just love it, so sweet.
Thanks for playing along with us at Shopping Our Stash!

Oh, this is just too cute. I have a jar stamp so I'll have to remember this.
Very pretty card. I'm very partial to any cards made with buttons. I think it always gives a card a Homey look.
